Footage of up-and-coming Arsenal starlet Omari Hutchinson finding the net in spectacular fashion for the club’s U21 outfit has been turning heads online this week.

Salah amongst the goals

The Gunners’ latest crop of emerging talent were back in action on Tuesday.

Kevin Betsy’s side made the trip to Rodney Parade, for a group stage meeting with Newport County in the Papa John’s Trophy.

And, when all was said and done, a thrilling 90 minutes ultimately saw Arsenal secure all three points, courtesy of a 4-3 victory.

The aforementioned Omari Hutchinson opened the scoring in South Wales, and in altogether spectacular fashion. After picking the ball up out wide, the 17-year-old danced beyond one defender courtesy of a wonderful nutmeg, glided beyond another inside the area, before picking out the far corner with aplomb:

Next on target for the visitors was the highly-regarded Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand, who, after netting in successive outings for the club’s U23s over the last couple of weeks, added ever-further to his glowing reputation by means of a sumptuous free-kick:

Then, after Alex Fisher put Newport back in front 20 minutes from time, the stage was set for an Arsenal late show.

After midfielder James Olayinka levelled things up with 86 minutes on the clock, the evening’s telling moment arrived deep into injury-time, when Charles Sagoe Junior turned home on the end of an assist from fellow substitute Khayon Edwards.
