Kieran Trippier has reportedly left the England camp to attend a personal FA hearing over an alleged breach of betting rules.
The full-back faces a potential six-month ban for alleged betting offences in July 2019, when he joined Atletico Madrid from Tottenham.
Trippier has insisted he did not place any bets or profit from bets made by anybody else, with wagers thought to be placed by a group of his friends following conversations over WhatsApp.
The FA’s betting rules state that it is an offence to pass on inside information from which others can benefit.
Daniel Sturridge was charged with the same offence and found guilty of giving his brother inside tips on his potenital move from Liverpool to Sevilla in 2018.
He was given a four-month worldwide ban from all football-related activities.
